Amr Anwar is a Professional Tennis coach of all ages with different ability levels. Anwar available to travel as Fitness Tour Coach both domestic and internationally. He holds several certifications. Anwar is certified by Etcheberry Fitness Coach in Strength, Conditioning and Movement in Tennis. He is a certified professional tennis coach of the Professional Tennis Registry(PTR). He is also a certified from overseas in Strategies & Mental Toughness. Anwar is working towards becoming a USTA High Performance tennis Coach. Anwar currently working as Site Director and Head Pro coach at The New York Junior Tennis League (NYJTL) and coaching private lesson. NYJTL is one of the largest tennis and educational support programs in the United States. At the NYJTL, he conducts a well-structured program for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players to develop their tennis skills, sportsmanship and physical conditioning. He develops junior players for competitive NYJTL tournament team to participate in local and national competitions and other tournaments. Prior to working at the NYJTL, Anwar worked at several clubs for example he worked as team tennis coach for USTA New Jersey JR Intermediate and advance Team Tennis League. There, Anwar worked with tournament training program, development training program, National Ladies Clinic and Private Lessons. Anwar has played tennis for more than 28 years and has been coaching for the past ten (10) years. Anwar is a US Open Field Operation Staff and he participates in the USTA League Men’s Double and Mix Double matches. Some of his earned the Cunningham Summer Tennis Tournament Championship for Men’s Double in 2006 and 2007, The Engineering Club Tournament second place in 2003, and other tournaments overseas. Anwar’s has a Coaching Philosophy that he obtained from his former Army Experience where mental and disciplinary acts are a part of his life and daily practice which provides him with his strengths as a Tennis Coach and Leader. Anwar believes that discipline, goal setting and the (PTTSM) Physical, Technical, Tactical, Strategic, and Mental game are the road to the championship with NO Shortcuts and NO Substitutes. |
