7900 Wynlakes Blvd Dani Leal is originally from Aurora, Illinois. Dani was ranked #3 in the nation in the juniors. He played for Pepperdine University for three years at positions 1-4, an All-American twice, and earned a top 10 National singles ranking in NCAA along with the team finishing #2 and #3 Nationally. He played Professional tennis for three years on the ATP Tour where he reached top 200 in the World. He competed at the French Open and the US Open twice. Dani also played club tennis in Germany for five years. In 1988, Dani became the Tennis Director at Wynlakes. Dani became the USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) Pro of the Year in 2000 and again USPTA Pro of the Year for 2002. He is currently a National Tester for the PTR (Professional Tennis Registry). In 2006, Dani received PTR Pro of the Year and 2007 he received PTR Tester of the Year. In 1999, Dani went back to college to finish his Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and played tennis at Auburn University at Montgomery where they finished #2 Nationally as a Team in NAIA. Dani was a finalist in doubles at the Nationals and round #16 in singles giving him an All-American status once again. Dani is married to Leah where they own and operate the Wynlakes Tennis Shop as a team. |
