William has played and taught tennis for the last 18 years out of Gainesville Fl and other various locations throughout the country. He has had USTA teams go to nationals 3 times in the last 10 years. He trains both juniors and adults from around the country to get the best out of themselves and their tennis games. He has added the Etcheberry techniques and training methods as a tool to make himself and his students more efficient in every aspect of their games. William has been PTR certified since 1999. He is a life member of both the American Tennis Association (ATA) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA). He has been the tournament director or the tournament Referee of the Heritage Tennis Classic held on Martin Luther King Weekend in Gainesville, Florida for the last 15 years. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Southern section of the ATA and the national board of the ATA for the last 12 years. He is Vice President of the Rainbow Tennis league (RTL) and he is on the board of the Weekend Warriors Tennis Circuit (WWTC). William wrote the original ChallengeMaster ranking software used at Westside tennis (Gainesville, Fl) for their challenge ladder. He developed the original websites for BT Magazine, the American Tennis Association, the Midwestern Tennis Association, Westside Tennis, the Rainbow Tennis League, and the Heritage Tennis Classic. |
